TELEPHONE

Basic phone service in your home is $20/month. Business rate is $25/month. Remember these rates do not include taxes or fees.

Kennebec Telephone, Inc. offers the following long distance services:

  • Real Deal - no monthly charge, only pay when you use it.  $.14/minute.

  • KDL Unlimited Long Distance - $21.95/mo per line.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a federal benefit that lowers the monthly cost of phone, internet, or bundled phone/internet service. Eligible customers will save $9.25 a month on their basic monthly bill. The benefits also cover the Access Recovery Charge (ARC). Customers who reside on tribal lands may be eligible for additional discounts up to $25 a month. Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

Kennebec Telephone Company, Inc. has been authorized to participate in and provide our customers benefits under the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).  The ACP is a government benefit program operated by the Federal Communications Commission.  The program reduces broadband internet access service bills for qualified households up to $30/month and up to $75/month for Tribal lands. This benefit is available with all current broadband service offerings.
