Kennebec Fire Department now has a three generation membership.  Charlie Bowar joined the Fire Department in 1961, Rod Bowar (son) joined in 1980 and Chaz Bowar (grandson) joined March 2006, Laddy Christensen joined in 2004.  Rod Bowar is the manager of Kennebec Telephone Co.,. Out of 26 of his  employees 7 are members of the Kennebec Fire Department.
